The Peak (2011)
For 35 years of the Japanese colonial period, Joseon had been in pitch-darkness. Even amid the darkness, Yi Yuk Sa wrote poems to send messages of hope to those who have given up Joseon and those who waited for the new Joseon. Now, Korea is no longer under Japanese colonial rule, and Yi Yuk Sa is dead, but his poems still remain alive, ceaselessly sending his messages. In those darkest times, what kind of agony did he have to suffer and what kind of love did he have?
